On our second episode, Connor brings us his 80s pick, the lesser-known 80s comedy VOLUNTEERS starring Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and John Candy as Tom Tuttle from Tacoma, WA. As we fight, fight, fight for Washington State, we have a fun and winding conversation.

The prodigal podcast returns with THE NEW FILMGAZM, an unscripted, randomly released podcast series focusing on films from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, the three greatest decades of cinematic achievement. On our debut, we discuss the iconic 1975 masterwork ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, as well as the current state of cinema.

This week, we discuss the 2017 comedy ROUGH NIGHT, which came and went for reasons unknown. What is comedy? What is art? Can a movie still be a comedy if nobody is laughing? Check out this week's show to find out.

This week, we delve into the endless run of Disney Channel original movies, or DCOMs as they're called, starting with 2006's WENDY WU: HOMECOMING WARRIOR. It's a terrible kung fu movie for kids that has aged like cheese.

This week, we discuss the much-maligned finale of David Gordon Green's divisive trilogy, 2022's HALLOWEEN ENDS. Why did Green decide to largely sideline Michael Myers from his, to date, last movie?

This week, we dig into one of the most hated slasher films of all time, 1993's JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY. It's the ninth entry in the franchise, and even the most dedicated Jason Voorhees fans despise this one. What sets it apart from 11 other, admittedly not great, movies?

This week, we discuss the underwhelming 2023 horror legacy sequel THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER, which was so hated by fans that David Gordon Green's planned sequels were immediately cancelled and another reboot is now planned.

This week, we look into the admittedly terrible and weird 2003 family comedy THE CAT IN THE HAT, a film that Mike Myers starred in against his will and ensured we would never see another live-action Dr. Seuss film again.
