Do you like comics that use racial and cultural stereotypes as superpowers? Well, then you are in luck...

...Matt, on the other hand, clumsily tries to navigate the landmines he set for himself because he's the one who chose the comic. Ever the good sport, Daniel brings a high level of thoughtfulness, nuance, and sophistication to the discussion -- which are all things The New Guardians #1 lacks.

Matt's awkwardness aside, this turns out to be a great conversation about race and representation in comics.

Also, both Daniel and Matt share their love for the writing of the great Dwayne McDuffie.

Hopefully Matt didn't mention Nightman (but knowing him, he probably did).
