We all should have a holy discontentment with the world we live in. While there is much beauty to enjoy, much pleasure to experience and deep relationships to be had, we need to rightly recognize we are not in a perfect world and yearn for more. God's great passion is to dwell in the midst of His people, not just to be there, but to have a manifest presence. The “New Jerusalem” will be a place where our great God perfectly displays His rule and reign, completely devoid of any corruption from man’s sin—a holy perfect place of God dwelling with His people and the result is pure Joy.
