Rory, Danny and Ivy go to a performance by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in Horsham. They meet Heiner and Anna Watkins there. The following day Rory and Danny take a long local walk. They meet Raj on the street then go on to Danny's parents' place. Mindy Bright is visiting Louise and Trevor. Mindy talks of her new thoughts for her future. Plainly, Mindy has had a change of attitude. Danny and Rory go to visit Richard and Max, then on to a picnic in the northern Grampians or Gariwerd.
