This week a significant step was made by Australian legislators, introducing a Safe Harbour provision for directors of companies that could be trading insolvent. The Treasury Laws Amendment (2017 Enterprise Incentives No 2) Bill 2017 enables directors to pursue reforms in their business rather than moving the company into administration.
