The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Utah State Prison is today. Over the next few months, the Dept. of Corrections will begin to move inmates from the soon-to-be retired facility in Draper to the new location. This is the culmination of one of the biggest public policy shifts of the past decade and there is one man who has been at the center of it from the beginning- Speaker Brad Wilson of the Utah House of Representatives. He wrote an op-ed that is in today’s Deseret News and he joins us now.
