Addiction is a complex conundrum that will not succumb to easy one size fits all solutions.

As the research emerges and our understanding broadens, how we respond to addictions needs to keep pace in our own life and the lives of others. We do know that shaming people is not a productive tactic neither is punishment and isolation.

So as a nation with statistics that are cause for concern, how do we as individuals help, and how can we as a community assist?
