We recorded this on Halloween night to enhance the terrifying atmosphere of four adult men playing a trick-or-treating RPG for children. And also because scheduling is the real monster. And so is Spookums, the Halloween Boy of Video Game Jump Scares. And so are...you??!
Anyways, we finished Costume Quest. We also celebrate Mark finally beating Dark Souls 1, faffle on about the Animal Crossing DLC for a bit, and I'm sure other exciting things happen.

Paul has picked up Metroid Dread and lends us some of his thoughts on getting murdered by robots in the newest addition to the series. The boys also spends some time trying to help Sy understand why he should enjoy doing stuff again, in a quasi-general sense.

We brave the perils of the Norse afterlife in Valheim, hindered by terrible monsters, extremely dedicated boars and wolves, and at times our own foolhardy relationship with gravity.
Our next gaming club game is the trick-or-treating RPG Costume Quest, just in time for the festive season.

We're devoting a little extra time to an urgent game proposal from corporate to come up with a housewife-centered racing game. The Marks are back in Morrowind and tell us about their daring exploits and exploitative dares.

Today we discuss our experiences with the thriving scene of multiplayer online battle arenas. Mark shares the first leg of his mission to play the Elder Scrolls Games to main narrative completion, starting from Morrowind. We talk about the new Pokemon MOBA for the Switch, and Sy emphatically suggests that our sordid histories with the genre be taken as a warning to all wayward souls who would follow on our path.

We get together to talk about the wide range of the sports games we've been trying out in our latest gaming club meeting. Golf, basketball, tennis, karate; we've been hitting all the balls in them and we bring you our results!
Corporate has also burdened us once more with an unusual combination of concepts to incorporate into a game and we ask any of our parents listening to maybe just put on some loud but inoffensive saxophone instrumentals while they let the last 15 minutes run out.

We're gathering our second wind for this episode as we talk about the value of comeback mechanics in a wide array of games and genres.
For obvious reasons, this episode also includes a brief discussion on the merits of the critically-panned 1997 martial arts film called Beverly Hills Ninja.
