Thank you, Kobe! You paved the way for a lot of future Hall of Fame players. You've also shown none basketball players a path of hard work and dedication can take you to a different level. Thank you for showing us even at the top of your game, you can be down to earth and help others. Growing up in class you were the Basketball idol I looked up to. Playing ball in middle school hitting them 3s and people or myself yelling Kobe! I wasn't gifted with hight, lol. I only reached 5'5 so B-ball wasn't an option for me. Seeing your love for Soccer was a big reason I played so hard. The talk was always "I want to be the Kobe of Soccer." Again, Thank you for all you've done for your fans and for the history of sports.
