On this first episode, we walk down memory lane. The optimism with which it all started, our democracy. The promises that were carefully presented on paper and the anticipation for a better life. Then the storm of bad and corrupt leadership blew it all away.
But there comes a child, the child of the 1990s who was born in the euphoria of the great promises. But unfortunately caught up in the reality of his environment, which is far from what he was promised. His childhood was stolen, his teenage years full of struggles and his adult life filled with confusion. He must find his place, he is a hard worker but so is his reality, fighting hard to keep him down.
The '90s child was promised so much but given nothing. He is caught up in hard work and disappointment while hoping that grace finds him. I sympathize with every child born in the 1990s that have never witnessed a truly working Nigeria.
