Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, and Showrunner/EP Shawn Ryan sat down to talk about the political thriller, 'The Night Agent.' Basso and Buchanan talk about their characters, what it was like running from the law, and how they stayed so fresh and clean while on the run. The duo also told some fun behind the scenes stories about some pivitol scenes of the show. Academy Award nominee Chau spoke about the essense of her character, her idea behind the gray hair, and why she knew she had to be apart of the show. Meanwhile, Ryan spoke about why he wanted to do a political thriller right now, how to keep the story clear but entertaining, why he liked the idea of an agent being stuck answering phones, and thoughts on season two.

Synopsis:

Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings -- until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.
