The woman inside wore a uniform from a company that went bankrupt in 1983. She took Luna's dollar, printed a ticket that said 'WELCOME BACK' with a date from thirty years earlier, and told her to drive safe. Luna drove through and kept going, but the rearview mirror showed the booth dark — and the ticket is still on her dashboard, the ink shifting each time she looks. No resolution. Just a road that still expects her.
