On Saturday evening, July 12, 2025, local punk band the Unpretties played an album release party in the basement of Misfits Coffee on Main Street.

They were part of a night of music that included two other punk bands, Rosemary’s Other Baby, from Savannah, Georgia, and Captain Midnight and the Graveyard Kids, from Atlanta.

Twenty-two people died that night.
