This week, we continue our deep dive into Richard Ramirez with Part Three of our Night Stalker series, which may be one of the longest series we’ve ever covered on the podcast. There’s so much history, psychology, investigative work, and social context wrapped up in the Night Stalker case that we felt rushing it would almost do it a disservice.

As Ramirez continues his violent rampage through Los Angeles, the attacks grow increasingly chaotic and brazen. He knows he does not want to stop, but with each new crime, investigators are getting closer. Homicide detectives Gil Carrillo and Frank Salerno are beginning to piece together the horrifying pattern unfolding across the city. And Richard is making mistakes. This episode is another difficult one, containing discussion of graphic violence, assault, and deeply disturbing crimes. Please listen at your discretion.
