A’VIBE(Brittney Williams) is a new Caribbean pop artist, of Trinidadian descent. who was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She started singing as a child but didn’t share her hidden talent until she turned 18. For years she sang and danced along with her cousins and other family members, mostly Trinidadian music like soca, calypso, pan music(steel pan)and to parang(folk music). A’VIBE is a song-writer and has written music for other artists too. She developed a love for not only Soca music but also Hiphop and RnB music from her parents. Her eclectic musical upbringing also is reflected in the artist that she looks up to including the African American RNB group New Edition, and her predecessors and fellow Trinidadian Soca artists, Machel Mantono and Destra.
