The Nittany Pod

After losing to Michigan 21-18, Penn State's losing streak now sits at 4 heading into their much welcomed, and needed, bye week. It was another game of questionable and disappointing decision making, and it leaves us all wondering, what even is the goal at this point?

Whiteout week was incredible, but of course it culminated in what we are all too familiar with at this point; a Penn State loss. USC wins 31-23 in front of a record setting crowd at Beaver Stadium, and Penn State rides a 3-game losing streak into Michigan week. Conversations are all over the place when it comes to Matt Campbell, Pat Kraft, and the investment in Penn State Football. Where do TK and AP stand?

Penn State finally put together a complimentary football game; only problem, it was complimentary BAD. Losing 34-13 to Northwestern is a harsh slap in the face from what is currently our new reality, and it is very hard to stomach. With all that said, we are FAVORITES on Saturday.....what does Vegas know? Is there light at the end of this tunnel? Is Pat Kraft in trouble? Where do you stand on this coaching staff? There is a TON to talk about...Let's get it over with.

Penn State lost yet another game in ridiculous & heartbreaking fashion in Beaver Stadium; and here we are to try to talk it out and process our emotions. We don't have too much luck. Who do you blame for Saturday? AP & TK debate who should get the most blame for Saturday's collapse. Is the attendance a troubling sign? Nick & AP don't think so. We have a ton to talk about. Let's get into it!

A special guest host joins AP this week; they react to the news of Koby Howard missing the next 3-4 weeks, talk about how it impacts the matchup with Wisconsin, and ponder how it effects the team moving forward. Wisconsin score predictions & players to watch. What is your ideal quad-box for Week 4?

Penn State had their biggest win over Temple since 2009 yet the game left most of us with pause for concern. Are the concerns serious, or was Penn State just a little slow to get up for Temple's Super Bowl? We've got our standout players of the game, and then we give some quick thoughts about Buffalo, talk Big Ten foes, & give some Week 3 CFB picks.

What a way to start the new era! It was a special weekend at Beaver Stadium; Penn State beats down on Marshall, 45-0, and it could not have looked much better for Matt Campbell's first win. Koby Howard obviously had an incredible day, but who else impressed us on Saturday? Who are we looking to breakout against Temple? We have a talk about this weekend's upcoming "Rivalry" matchup with the the Owls, give out score predictions, and of course pick a few Week 2 games!

What feels like the longest off-season of our lives is finally over, and the Matt Campbell era officially begins this coming Saturday! We DO need to talk about the frustrating chatter that has consumed the last 8 months, so if you want to skip the conversation we have about the previous coach, jump ahead to about 13 minutes into the show.

In just 8 months, EVERYTHING about the program feels different. What has stuck out the most?

PREDICTIONS - What is the ceiling/floor? Who will be the star? Who will break out? Under the radar players to watch

Week 1 picks

• Ole Miss vs. Louisville
• Clemson @ LSU
• Baylor @ Auburn (in Atlanta)

Penn State had a very rough Saturday. ESPN made it a point to have them look foolish, then they suffered yet another heartbreaking loss in Iowa City. At least we can say they fought. Why not keep playing the young guys? Where does Penn State's job rank? Is this the worst season of your life?

Penn State is sitting at 3-3 and looking for a new Head Coach, as James Franklin's era abruptly comes to a close after an UGLY performance against Northwestern. How did we get here, and what does it look like the rest of the year? Our top 3 candidates for the job, & who we DO NOT want.
