When I arrived back in the States, I found that my brother was handling all of Dad’s affairs. He took care of the bills Dad had left behind and the few belongings he had when he passed away.

It was a blessing having a brother who could shoulder those responsibilities. But that also meant there wasn’t much for me to do during this emergency leave.
