What's up sports fans? Week 8 of the NFL season rocked the league. Kirk Cousins ruptured his Achilles, the trade deadline made some teams better—and some teams worse—and the Packers are bad now. We talk about the Vikings as a Wild Card team (03:45) and savor in the Packers struggling week after week. Shoutout to Packers fans for hanging with us. It takes some convincing to admit times have changed in the NFC North, although we get to an agreement that the Lions are the kings (and Green Bay might be irrelevant). Devon previews how the Packers could immediately rebound (08:00) and Alex promises to take it easy on the suffering. We rip the NFL schedule makers for forcing fans to watch the Bears in primetime, but give Tyson Bagent some NCAA DII flowers (10:30). We even take a shot at Josh McDaniels before the Raiders fired him. After tearing apart the Bears, we cover the Giants and their negative passing yards (16:00) in this season's ugliest game. Running backs get some love as we hype Breece Hall and Saquon Barkley, and we evaluate the abuse one of them takes doing his job. Take a trip down Tyrod Taylor's memory lane, and spend some time in marriage counseling with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys (23:00). We critique the Chiefs and examine if Mahomes isn't superhuman after all, then work through a disappointing Detroit win (29:20). After a Marcus Peters appearance, we light a candle for Davante Adams and talk through trades from Deadline Day (36:25). From the Commanders and Niners to the entire NFC North, we talk through all the deals that went down. The Lions got better, the Bears confused everyone, the Vikings added an astronaut (?), and the Packers got "a haul." We wrap it up with some changes to the Power Rankings and wave goodbye to the Chiefs in the top group.
