The Norwegians are coming - to Upper Jay next week
The Upper Jay Arts Center's winter production of "The Norwegians" takes a stab at love, loss and lutefisk.
The strong, bitter comedy, by C. Dendy Swanson, runs February 19 - 23 in the Recovery Lounge at the Upper Jay Arts Center. It tells the story of two women scorned in Minnesota, and the two very nice gangsters of Norwegian descent they hire to murder their ex-boyfriends.
Artistic Director Scott Renderer says most of the play is devoted to observation and commentary - both intended to be humorous - about Minnesotans, Norwegians, Texans and Kentuckians, and a few words about relationships.
