The reality of life seems to be that we fail. Sometimes it's a little failure and sometimes it's a defining moment of our lives but we all fail. The question I want to wrestle with is this - what does our failure do to us? If we fail, does that mean we lose value to the world around us? Are we no longer able to impact our world in a positive way? Does failure take us out of the game?

There are some fascinating insights to the failures in our lives from the life and ancestors of Jesus. Spoiler alert - they weren't all perfect.
