Based on Luke 18:1 Jesus seems to be saying we can either give up or pray but it's impossible to be in both states at the same time. So when you find yourself exhausted and about to give up it's time to turn to this tremendous tool of Prayer and cast our burdens on him.

We need to redeem the time as the passage in Ephesians 5 states BECAUSE the days are evil. It is vital as believers that we learn to discern. We need to acquire wisdom so we can walk in truth. Wisdom is word based and God given. We learn it from the word of God and ultimately from the God who gave us the Word.
