The #NOTwatching Podcast

On this week's show we're talking about some of our favourite TV of the past few months, including the latest instalment of the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, Guy Ritchie's surprisingly darker second season of The Gentlemen and the sadly (not at the time of recording) cancelled Ride or Die, starring everyone's favourite TV bombshell, Hannah Waddington.

All this & a fair bit more before we begin our annual countdown of the best Movies & TV the past 12 months had to offer...

It's that time of year when we commiserate not only the end of summer but also how badly we did on our annual Summer Movie Wager.

It's still an excuse to process what went down at the Box Office though, with Tom Holland and pals reigning supreme in both Spider-Man: Brand New Day & The Odyssey, some suprise grassroots horror in the mix and Disney's live action remake strategy finally showing some signs of wear and tear.

Still, at least people went to the cinema this summer - and that can only be a good thing :)

We're back like clockwork for another Summer Movie Wager in which we try to come up with the correct order for the biggest movies this summer, whilst getting suitably hyped for actually watching them. Disney have a particularly strong slate this year with new entries in all their main pillar franchises, but does Spider-man have what it takes to outwit Woody & co or do battle with not just a Mandalorian, but a Grogu too?

We also talk about some of our favourite movies of the year so far, including the second part of the 28 years later trilogy, Bone Temple, the exceptionally well-timed (for Rob) Rental Family and much much more!

Here we are once again and at such a late time of year we really should know better AND we actually do! It was the BAFTAs last night and the Oscars is still some weeks away - so we're still firmly in Awards season and as much as the turn of phrase turns my stomach, we want to dish out some flowers too!

So here are our picks of 2025 as if you didn't already have enough to watch - same format as usual: Returning/Ending & New/One-off TV shows. We don't like to cross the streams here. Enjoy!

Back in a few weeks for this year's Summer Movie Wager. You have been warned! :)

It's that time of year again. 2 podcasters. 20 movies. Some honourable mentions and dissapointments. As usual, this is as tardy as we can probably get away with, but hey, we don't get paid for this. And we still had a few movies to catch up on before we could justify any authority on the subject. Enjoy!

Back in a few week's with our TV picks. We really will be taking the piss by then lol!

On this week's episode we're back on the small screen where no one can hear you scream. From the mind of Noah (Fargo) Hawley comes the first outing of the storied Alien Franchise to TV! Also up for discussion is the second season and next entry in the newly rebooted DC Universe, Peacemaker. Did the new opening song & dance cut it?

Another summer blockbuster season is over and with it our usual annual round up, review and debrief of the US Box Office. We'll be counting down the top 10 movies of the summer, our thoughts on the ones we saw like Superman and the Fantastic Four and then getting into a few entries that didn't quite make it, like the Naked Gun remake and the latest entry in the Conjuring series.

Before all that though, we thought we'd start off with some gadget talk for a change, namely Marcus's new TV and Rob's new iPhone Air.

And you say we aren't full of surprises!
