People with a Developmental Visual-Spatial Disorder (DVSD)—a proposed new name for Non-Verbal Learning Disability (NVLD)—experience a range of challenges. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Caelan McPherson, who has been diagnosed with NVLD, sat down with Dr. Laura Lemle, founder of the NVLD Project, and Dr. Amy Margolis, a researcher and professor involved with the project. They spoke about NVLD, the organization's efforts to raise awareness, educating the public, and providing support and resources to help individuals with NVLD succeed.
