In May 2023, the sailing world was shaken by the tragic sinking of Bayesian, a British-flagged superyacht anchored off Sicily. Today, the UK’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch has released its interim report on the sinking—and it’s raising important points, especially about the actions of the crew.
