Spooky season is upon us but there is nothing scary about the Edmonton Oilers' recent run of performances. After splitting the first six games of the season at home, the Oilers went on the road and beat the St Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks, and Calgary Flames. They are now on a four-game winning streak with back-to-back games coming up at home versus the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars.
Any question mark around the team right now revolved around the goaltending. Jack Campbell has been solid for this team but rookie Stuart Skinner has been excellent for them with a 1.79 goals-against average and a 0.955 save percentage in four games. Skinner may have now forced the hand of the staff to make him the starter moving forward.
Also on the show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin got into the Halloween spirit with a Trick or Treat segment. They went back and forth on which teams/players have been treats to start the year and who has tricked us. Finally, to close out the show, the boys gave out their Betway picks of the day ahead of tonight's NHL action.
