Originally Aired: June 9, 1953
Johnny Dollar #166, "The Oklahoma Red Matter," Johnny travels to Lexington, Kentucky to investigate a suspicious $65,000 insurance claim on a champion racehorse named Oklahoma Red. As Johnny digs deeper, requesting x-rays and medical reports, the defensive reactions from both Dr. Pierce and Calgor himself raise red flags. With the veterinarian's hasty actions, missing documentation, and the emotional testimony of someone who knew the horse best, Johnny suspects this straightforward injury claim may be covering up something far more sinister.
