The first violent conflict in history was between a farmer and a herdsman. Cain was a farmer and his younger brother, Abel, was a herdsman. Fast-forward several thousand years later and we really haven’t made much progress in ending conflicts between farmers and nomadic herders. Today on the Backstory, Anthonieta, Richard and Nabilah explain why it is that in the year 2021 Nigeria is still struggling with conflicts between farmers and nomadic herders.
