The Ole Switcheroo

A follow-up to an October episode, this week we watched the SEQUEL to Blood and Honey, as well as a remake (?) called Piglet. The Poohniverse is expanding and we are buckled up and ready to ride.

Obviously, we used the Pickerwheel to determine which half of which movie we were each going to watch and we did the switch at home, since one of the movies was on Tubi. We love Tubi.

Go check out the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.

On a Tuesday night in March... Alexis and Suzy sneak around the movie theater to watch halves of movies they purchased tickets for... this movie-ruining experience is better known as The Ole Switcheroo!

This week we went to the ole AMC, saw Nicole Kidman step in a puddle, and then watched two halves of brand new movies The Monkey and Last Breath. To keep things fair, we used the Pickerwheel to decide who would get the first and second half of each movie.

We would love to see you over on the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.

This week, Suzy and Alexis spun the Picker Wheel to determine which half to watch of the 2011 film We Bought A Zoo starring Matt Damon, ScarJo, John Michael Higgins, and That Other Guy.

We would love to see you over on the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.

Alexis and Suzy are hitting you with another installment of the Saw franchise with Saw III (find the first two in the feed). Is it still torture porn when one person is listening and the other is watching? We'll let you know. As always, the coin flip was determined by the Picker Wheel. This week on our Patreon, you can hear an episode about our visit to Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day.

Happy New Year from The Ole Switcheroo crew. This week we each watched half of the movie The Legend of Bagger Vance, as determined by a Picker Wheel full of movies released in the year 2000. This movie happens to be one of the primary examples of an American cinema trope called the Magical Negro.

The Picker Wheel speaks: Suzy and Alexis each watched half of Lisa Frankenstein, written by Diablo Cody. Friend of the show Isabel joins after seeing the whole movie (how strange).

This week we switched two incredible Lifetime movies: Mistletoe in Montana (2021) and Holiday in Santa Fe (2021), starring Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez respectively. The episode is split into two parts, but Patrons get both parts right away at Patreon.com/nermernermer.

If you need to make any hard decisions this holiday season, consider going to pickerwheel.com (not a sponsor)

Celebrate Krampus on December 5th at your local Krampus event!

This week Alexis and Suzy watched the 2015 film Krampus with a solid 50/50 split, determined by the Picker Wheel. Krampus is the character foil to jolly old Saint Nicolas; he's responsible for punishing the bad kids while Santa rewards the good ones.

This week, Alexis and Suzy did a home switcheroo with the 2023 film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Though they technically have the same main character, these movies could not be more different.
