Jesus gave specific signs to his disciples that would point to his return being close. This teaching was given at the Mount of Olives in Isreal just overlooking the eastern gate of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. It was described as birth pangs or another name for it would be the times of sorrows. We believe according to scripture that we are in these times The Lord spoke about because of the frequency & magnitude of the signs all happening at the same time.
