In this sermon - given on the first week of a seven-week Advent season, November 10, 2019 - Matt talks through Luke 20:27-38. This passage is often misunderstood and is the source of some wrong ways to think about the afterlife (for example, the misguided idea that we'll become angels). The passage also has to do with our fear of being insignificant, our fear of ending, our fear of not leaving a legacy.
