Sylvia Kasanga, the chair of the Board of Trustees of Lukenya University, and Tegla Loroupe, a former marathon champion and founder of the Tegla Loroupe Foundation, discuss the forthcoming Lukenya University Marathon, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of planting and growing trees to fight climate change in the Lower Eastern Region. The marathon aims at planting 200,000 trees per year to increase forest cover in the area.
