So this may be a little bit controversial, but I am a strong believer that God rewards good stewardship. Look at the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30).

Our current generation believes more and more that God is their genie and should bless them at their wish and call. But God desires a relationship, a true relationship. No one sided relationships work out in the end!
