This one felt vulnerable to record. In this episode I talk about the single biggest mistake I made building my clinics, the one that cost me time, money, clients, and a decent chunk of my confidence.

I waited until I felt ready. Until the branding was perfect, the website was finished, I had enough before-and-afters, and I felt "established" enough to charge properly. And while I was busy waiting, other injectors were just showing up. Imperfectly, inconsistently, but visibly. And they were getting the bookings that should have been mine.

Here's what took me years to accept: readiness is a myth. You don't get ready and then start. You start and then you get ready. The confidence comes from doing the thing, not from waiting until you feel brave enough to do it.

I also dig into why this hits nurses and healthcare professionals so hard. We're trained to double and triple check everything before we act, because in clinical practice getting it wrong has serious consequences. But that same caution that makes us brilliant practitioners is often the exact thing holding our businesses back. It shows up as perfectionism, over-preparing, and doing yet another course instead of putting ourselves out there.

Done is better than perfect. Visible is better than polished. Every single time.
