I used to think my job was to fix the trauma.
To reverse the pain.
To heal the wounds.
To make everything better.
But that crushed me.
Because I couldn’t do it.
I’m not a savior — I’m a steward.
The day I let go of fixing…
And embraced faithfulness instead — everything changed.
Now, I don’t try to control outcomes.
I just show up.
And I’ve found that consistency, not control, is what builds trust.
Jesus doesn’t demand healing on a timeline.
He walks with us through it.
So I’ll do the same.
