In this week's episode of One Thing More, Jamalyn and Kim discuss the sermon from the previous week about the story of the ten lepers who were healed by Jesus, and the one who returned to thank Him. They focus on the fact that the one who came back was a Samaritan. They also talk about a book called "She Got Up Off the Couch," which is a memoir by Haven Kimmel about her mother's journey. Kimmel’s mother grew up in poverty, overcame her difficulties, and went back to college, ultimately graduating summa cum laude. Kim shares her own zigzagging story of how she started at RCA, working on the factory floor, and worked there for 20 years, moving around and up before leaving to attend seminary.
