It probably should not surprise us that we can learn a lot from the Mother, the woman God trusted with Christ as a helpless infant. Mary answered a courageous yes! to Gods calling. While we do not know everything Mary knew when she said yes, we do know that she agreed to a difficult journey knowingly as a pregnant, unwed young girl. She also knew and had faith, however, in the coming peace she was entrusted to carry into a troubled world. We too are called, elected by God -- and like Mary, we can say yes! because God is with us, within us.
