Understanding we must have an effective content strategy and knowing that it is critical we understand something called the content funnel formula. When you know how to use your content so that you can repurpose it in multiple places, you leverage your time and exposure much more efficiently. The content funnel is simple, and you should always think about it this way:

Top: YouTube Video

A YouTube video is ALWAYS top of the content funnel because it is the only search engine for social media and you want to make sure you take advantage of that. One other big benefit is being able to use it in lots of different ways. 

For example - turning it into a podcast from the audio OR transcribing it and turning it into a blog post or captions for your social media posts.

By finding keywords through YouTube SEO strategies you learn about what your audience and client avatar is actually searching for! 

Then you know you are creating content and repurposing it on other social platforms that people are actually wanting to learn!

What does this mean? It means that your content performs better because you aren’t blindly throwing out content hoping and praying it does well.

The rest of the content funnel looks like this:

⬇️Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram TV
⬇️Micro Video or teaser for Facebook and Instagram
⬇️Instagram and Facebook Story Post
⬇️Brand post with a quote from the video for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram

By doing content this way you can turn 1 video into 10 different pieces of content. Now that’s efficient.

So remember, you DON’T need to make a new piece of content for each platform and you
DON’T need to waste your time guessing and hoping your content will do well because..

You’ll be confident it will be what your audience wants because you are creating content on what they are searching for.

So get out there and stop getting overwhelmed with content - just create a video and turn into 10 different pieces of content!
