The Open Call Podcast hosts conversations centered around contemporary art and is hosted by Laura Tanner and Anne Stagg.
In this episode of The Open Call Podcast, we talked with Ethan Murrow. Ethan is an internationally known artist who primarily works with painting and drawing through a practice of research, experimentation and play. He works across many media including painting, drawing, illustrated books, and larger-than-life wall installations. He collaborates frequently with his partner, Vita Murrow, and several trusted assistants. Ethan is a professor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston at Tufts University and serves as Graduate Drawing and Painting Director.
New podcast episodes are released bi-weekly on Thursdays. In addition to the podcast, we keep an active Instagram where we share images of the artwork we talk about. Our Instagram at #the_open_call_podcast.
Special thanks to Susan Cooper for voicing the Intro/Outro, Scott Stagg for composing our music, and to our research assistants: Syd Cole, Ainsley Coty, Erin Miller, Alyssia Price, and Christian Pruitt who help with production.
