"I thought you Irish people were mad when I came here first. I thought, why are you all saying hello to me? You don't know me. Then when I went back to Poland for a holiday I really missed it. I looked for the smiles and they weren't there"

Marta Żymula has made Portlaoise her home after moving here from Poland 16 years ago. After many years learning English while working in Cafés and chippers, she is finally doing what she wants.
