The movie mythologizes the origin of Santa by having him be a lonely toymaker who finds himself in cahoots with a postman delivering toys to the local kids of a town run by warring klans—and it totally works. Together, the duo discuss the gorgeous animation, their love for the Márgu, and their appreciation for essential workers.
