The term „Global Health“ has, in recent times, increasingly served to denote the global political dimension of medical questions. The lecture series taken from the CAS research focus of the same name (directors: Peter Falkai, Katja Radon, Matthias Siebeck) analyzes more precisely this heterogeneous field of research on the basis of its historical structures and socio-political concepts. | Mark Harrison is professor for the history of medicine and director of the Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine at the University of Oxford.
