In this episode, I explore how patriarchy originated as an adaptive response to a crisis of wealth inequality, and how this led to the dehumanization and objectification of both men and women. 

Inevitably this oppressive objectification impacted our collective perceptions of masculinity and femininity, and I believe the modern phenomenon of transgender identity is, in part, a response.
