He regularly fights evil spirits and demons in order to protect everything. It's an old-school anime from the 90s and was on Toonami during that time. It has a huge following and recently got 2 new OVAs to celebrate its anniversary. It made a lot of money and is considered to be one of the greatest anime ever.
