In this episode of The Other Mike & Mike Show, the Mike’s start off talking about John Ross’s record-setting 4.22 time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine on Saturday. Adidas offered an actual island to anyone who beat the record. However, because Ross was wearing Nike shoes and not Adidas, he cannot have an island.
The Mike’s then get into this situation with Charles Schumer and the Indian athlete (Tanveer Hussain) who was originally blocked from coming to the US, but after the intervention of Charles Schumer, the decision was reversed. Hussain was arrested this past Wednesday and charged with sexual abuse and child welfare endangerment. This leads to a conversation about how certain people try to defend those like Hussain saying “this is in their culture so they think it’s ok”. Well, it’s not ok, and the Mike’s get into that.
Their last conversation is all about those who start GoFundMe’s but somehow still find ways to go on vacation. It was almost a motivation speech as they discuss how you can never improve your situation if you’re not trying.
