There are two types of people that are open to the Gospel. The first is like the prodigal son. They set out on their own thinking they knew what was best only to find out they were painfully wrong and long to return home. The other category has less to do with waywardness, however, and more to do with aloneness. We often miss this group because our eyes have simply not been opened to see them. Joseph had a dream given by God of how his life would be used to save a nation from famine. The journey was not so simple. Sold into slavery, imprisoned, falsely accused, Joseph could have easily abandoned the dream and calling God had given him. He stayed faithful, and the result was miraculous. God saved not only the nation but the whole world surrounding Egypt. This includes a reuniting and restoring of the family that sold Joseph into slavery. Do you need your eyes opened to see those who are lost and alone and left hungry because of spiritual famine? Has your dream dimmed as a result of time spent in the dungeons? There's hope, friend. And we are now in a season of harvest.
