Welcome back to the new Portraits Sermon Series message. This Sunday Ps. Heath Flanagan will share with us a sermon titled "The Other Side."  For sure, most of us have often heard someone in church talk about "loving others and loving God". But who accounts for "others?" Is it people who are good to us? People who offer us a helping hand? Classmates from school? Or does it also include those who are different from us? Opposed to us? Think bad of us?  As we continue our Portraits series, we will look at a story of an encounter between a severely demon-possessed man and Jesus; all from Jesus' disciples perspective. Let's follow the facts as Mark lays them out: 1. Where They Went; 2. With Whom They Went; 3. Why They Went.  From this perspective we will learn how Jesus continues to carry out His mission even when obstacles arose and how, by one encounter, a life is changed to be a living testimony.
