We're introducing a slightly new format this season: a match of the weekend where we go more in depth and a bunch of quick hits and observations from the rest of the weekend's games. First up: Manchester City vs Spurs, a tale as old as time.

What do we even make of Spurs, extremely polarizing season? Well, to get an expert opinion, we got our friend Des to give his thoughts on a season which saw Spurs win their first major trophy in 17 years while also finishing, ironically, 17th in the Premier League.

We go through Des's grades for the team, ex-manager Ange Postecoglou, and his expectations for the team based on this summer's transfer window.

This week on the summer series - Chelsea! Of course, we had to invite our good friend, Peter, onto the pod to get his thoughts on the club's season. From a potential title run up through Christmas, to finishing as Conference League and Club World Cup champions, there were many ups and downs.
