In the latest episode of Tabula Rasa, B!tches!, Allie and Nick discuss “The Pack.” On a school field trip to the zoo, Xander and a pack of four other students are possessed by the spirits of hyenas. Xander and his pack begin acting cruelly to Willow and other students. Although Giles initially brushes off Buffy’s concerns about Xander, he changes his mind when the school’s new mascot and Principal Flutie are eaten. Buffy, Willow, and Giles lure the pack back to the hyena enclosure at the zoo, and after a run-in with the hyena’s keeper, Buffy restores Xander and the others back to normal.
