Really enjoyed this one. There are tense, touching, and memorable moments throughout. The characters are convincing and vivid. The setting came to life.

Laura Morelli has that fine gift of a storyteller which I thoroughly enjoyed. She brought me into Venice in the Renaissance, breathinglife into distant history. Give me art, wrapped in historical fiction, and I am hooked! I am already looking forward to her next book.
