The Pandemic Did NOT Kill Your Business

Listen Later

It’s true, Coronavirus accounts for a lot of deaths globally. It’s also true that many companies close down, especially those that impacted significantly. But to say your business, where the fitness industry is concerned, closes down because of the pandemic, is just nonsense. To say that is taking away the power from you as a business owner to step up in your game at these crazy times. More than ever, this is the opportune time to take responsibility for your business to get going. Many have closed, but many have pivoted and reported increased revenue at this time. Many companies have tapped into their flexibility and reached their consumers and clients the best and safest way they could serve them, given the circumstances. There’s always a  reason you can, too!

Let me figure out ways for you to turn around your business at this time. Corona has accelerated so many things in life these days. Telecommuting - online shopping, grocery shopping have never been more in demand these days. And what’s more - people realize to take care of their health now more than ever. Learn to be flexible. It’s your responsibility to find ways to help those you are serving. People are visible online, no reason for you not to.

And how can you serve more clients and help them get results fast? Get creative with your offers. Think of ways around incorporating tutorial videos, nutrition plans, and the like. There are tons of suggestions; let your creative mind work.

And if there is also one way you could deliver fast results to your clients, that is - invest in yourself. If things are not happening the way you hoped it would be, then be honest with yourself about how you want something to happen for your business. If you’re going to fast track everything, then look for someone whose message resonates best with you and get help to get unstuck.

If you’re interested in investing in yourself, check out Maverick Coaching Academy, my passion project, my best attempt to save this fitness industry that I've seen for ten years now. I realize that it's not where it needs to be. It's where it should be. We’re going to show established strength coaches how to do the marketing and sales side of their business while staying in alignment with who they are, no sleazy tactics, no greasy moves - none of that stuff. If that sounds like something you want to be in, go check out the Maverick Coaching Academy website.

“Understand that the reason or reasons that you think you can't or shouldn't invest in yourself is the exact reason why you aren't where you want to be.”
